Ardiente in North Las Vegas
At the far north eastern end of
the Las Vegas Valley, Ardiente is a guard-gated
retirement community for people age 55+. It
is not part of the Sun City communities, but rather, a
competing retirement community where different choices
have been made.
The sizes of the 2 bedroom homes
in Ardiente are exceptionally large for an age-restricted
community in Las Vegas: from 1800 sq. ft. to 2400 sq.
ft. Some homes also have optional dens or enclosed
patios.

Another unusual feature
of Ardiente are the themed parks throughout the
community. There are six parks in all, some
with exercise stations. |
And,
of course, there are walking trails. Homeowners
have a large clubhouse, tennis and bocce courts, 2
sparkling pools and a small putting green.
One choice the developers
made was to not have a golf course within Ardiente.
There are, however, 2 public golf courses nearby.
And the homeowners are very active. Among other
things, they have a Classic Car Club with an annual show
open to the public.
While this Las Vegas retirement
community is in many ways like a resort, the homes have
practicality: low-maintenance, low-water usage
landscaping is included in the home price. All 6
floor plans are Energy Star rated.
Ardiente is not far from the
I-15 freeway and the 215 Beltway for easy access to
other parts of the Las Vegas Valley.
