North Las Vegas
North Las Vegas is a separate
city from Las Vegas and one that has blossomed in recent
years. North of Cheyenne Road there are
dozens of new home developments with homes for sale that
are far more affordably priced than anywhere else in the
Las Vegas Valley.
Among the newest is Aliante, a
master-planned community that includes both family homes
for sale and Sun City Aliante, an age restricted community built
by Pulte surrounding a new golf course and lake.
There are also long established
neighborhoods in North Las Vegas, like the one shown in
the photo above, with beautiful spacious homes
along tree-lined streets.
Business in North Las Vegas is
booming. Many national companies have set up regional
warehouse facilities in this area near the I-15
Freeway. The North Las Vegas airport has become a
popular landing for private jet owners as well as for
general aviation.

Nellis Air Force Base in
northeast Las Vegas
Nellis Air Force Base dominates
the northeast quarter of the City from behind its gates
at Craig Road and Las Vegas Boulevard. In the past,
mobile homes were often the only choice for off-base
housing nearby. In recent years, however, affordably
priced homes and rental apartments have been built in
very attractive residential developments in the
Northeast.
