| Painted Desert Golf Community in Northwest Las Vegas |

Painted Desert is a large, guard-gated golf course community just to the west of the 95 Freeway at Ann Road. Developers began to build both custom and production homes here in 1988. In addition to the golf course which is open to the public, there are pools and tennis courts for the use of residents only. Narrow streets lined with tall trees wind through Painted Desert, giving it a country village feel. Joggers, walkers and bicyclists who like practicing their sports on flat land will find it ideal. In Painted Desert there are single family homes as well as townhouse-style villas and apartment-style condos. To the east of the 95 Freeway in the Centennial Hills area there is another, much newer, golf community, Silverstone. The Silverstone golf course is also open to the public. And, as with all neighborhoods in northwest Las Vegas, the ski resort on Mt. Charleston is less than a half an hour drive away. For information about the
